Konrad

Konrad has been the owner/ operator of The Tech Shack for 8 years and has worked on cellphones and computers for over 15 years. He was 23 when he first opened, at the time the store sold Magic the Gathering cards and hosted various tournaments. He held SC largest Smash brothers tournament in 2014, then broke his own record the following year. Konrad has a massive community of followers who call him for any and every technology question they have. He built the store to what it is now in hopes of helping people not only use their electronics, but also to teach them how to get the most out of them. Konrad has 4 cats, plays video games and gardens in his spare time. He is a mentor to many and a friend to everyone he meets.

Ireland

​Ireland is Konrad’s wife and the office manager at Tech Shack. Before her time at Tech Shack, Ireland worked with Konrad’s parents at PECO Heating & Cooling. She then went on to work at AT&T for 4 years, moving from sales to store manager, and later to an AT&T consultant at Best Buy. As office manager, Ireland handles customer relations and oversees all work orders, marketing, and administrative tasks. When she’s not busy working, Ireland enjoys all things rock climbing, including indoor, outdoor, rope, and free climbing—and is a member of the Carolina Climbing Coalition. She also enjoys spending time with her five cats, who are her pride and joy
