Konrad has been the owner/ operator of The Tech Shack for 8 years and has worked on cellphones and computers for 15. He was 23 when he first opened, at the time the store sold Magic the Gathering cards and hosted various tournaments. He held SC largest Smash brothers tournament in 2014, then broke his own record the following year. Konrad has a massive community of followers who call him for any and every technology question they have. He built the store to what it is now in hopes of helping people not only use their electronics, but also to teach them how to get the most out of them. Konrad has 4 cats, plays video games and gardens in his spare time. He is a mentor to many and a friend to everyone he meets.


William is the office manager for The Tech Shack. He is the face of our company, most customers know him by his nickname “Dex”. Dex worked as a 25Q for the military before he joined the team 5 years ago. In layman’s terms, he was a Multichannel Transmission Systems Operator-Maintainer working with radios, computers and satellites. He also did work for 25C and 25B ( Cables and wiring and computer admin work). Now he does most of our diagnostics and Apple product repair. He’s logged about 300 hours into just Apple products, and has regular customers come in to have him fix their phone screens. When he is not at work he plays Pokemon competitively at local card shops and spends time with his 2 beautiful daughters and wife. Dex’s favorite video games are Splatoon 1 and 2, his preferred console is currently the Nintendo Switch.
